There is a French poet, Jean-Jacques Beylac, who has been living in my southern French village, Sauve, for around twenty years. He asked me to paint some pictures for his new collection of poems. The result was four pastels, reproduced and printed on lithographic paper (Daumier). "Drums of Fire" contains 21 poems by Jean-Jacques Beylac; 300 copies were printed, of which the first 50 were numbered and signed. Format: 30x22 cm Brigitte Rax, is a publisher who lives in Sauve. She designed "Eldtrummorna" (Drums of Fire). Together we carefully chose the paper for the pictures, the text and the cover.
